Aylsham Town Football Club

Aylsham Town Football Club originally began life as part of the Aylsham Wanderers boys club, training and playing with the boys. During 1996 the decision was taken to form a separate club dedicated to raising the profile and standard of girls football. Many successful seasons have followed and Aylsham Town are recognised as one of the top clubs in Norfolk winning more than their fair share of league and cup competitions, playing their attractive brand of football. Success at all costs is not the Aylsham way and have now achieved the F.A Standard Charter mark, for both their Youth and Ladies teams.

In 1999 the club was further expanded by the addition of a ladies team, although the first season was not a great success the addition of new players has brought tremendous success in the following 2 seasons, not only winning league's and cups, but also picking up the coveted fair play Awards.

In 2002, we became a Charter Standard Club and in 2004, became one of the first Charter Standard Adult Clubs. During the 2004/2005 Season we were crowned Champions of the Eastern Region Division 1 East and gained promotion to the Premier League.

During 2004, the Ladies first team merged with Fakenham Town, to form Fakenham and Aylsham Ladies. This is a positive move for both clubs, giving Aylsham the facilities required, as they progress through the Eastern Region Divisions.

Aylsham Town now have teams from U10 to U15 as well as 2 ladies sides and players from 9 to 40.
